Stringtown is a 5-piece band from Montgomery County, MD that formed during the pandemic. They first took the stage in March 2022, and have now amassed a devoted local following. Known for their palpable musical chemistry, powerful vocal harmonies, and live energy, Stringtown delivers a set of songs you won’t hear anywhere else; they combine a mix of diverse original tunes with covers from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and present-day.

Led by Steve Orders (former frontman of the DC-based ska band, The Skunks), Stringtown is comprised of multiple songwriters who each bring a unique perspective and sound to the band’s growing collection of originals. In February 2024, the band released their first three tunes and is currently working on completing their first album. Stringtown’s musical lineup includes Steve Orders (guitar/vocals), Kauri Martin (guitar/vocals), Nicole Orders (bass), Tim Martin (lead guitar), and Mike Gatti (drums/percussion).
